Andrew Scott, Director of Music

St Michael’s is fortunate to have a fine Henry (Father) Willis organ and a dedicated adult choir. The organ accompanies hymns at the 9.30am Family Mass on Sundays. At the 11am Solemn Mass and at Evensong, as well as congregational hymn singing, the beauty and solemnity of the liturgy is enhanced by choral music.

The organ is also used for regular lunchtime recitals by organists from  Britain and abroad, some eminent in their field, others talented young musicians.
